>last October: we finally attend local convetion as Golden Age Guts and Casca
>shit's lots more fun than I expected!
>we're on our way to the food court when The Adventure begins.....
>hear girl yelling, she sounds angry but also obviously distressed
>friend immediately turns towards me like "we can't leave this alone" so we try to follow the voice's direction to see what the fuck is going on
>Two tall dudes and a shorter (but fatter) one have fucking literally cornered this girl who's dressed up as Griffith (Golden Age version, no armor) and are using their bodies as a barrier to keep her from leaving
>one of them shoves her back when she tries pushing him away
>friend and I look at each other again and nod
>we take out our (fake) swords and I swear I still have no idea which one of us started it but we start yelling the chorus from this song http://youtu.be/67gMPl4RBKY which we'd been blasting at full volume on the trip to the hotel that morning
>picture it: a huge ass guy and an angry black woman in fake armor dashing towards those three dudes while yelling WE ARE THE DEATH OF THE BATTLEFIELD WE ARE THE BAND OF THE HAWK
>dudes do what every sane person would have done and run away
>Girl thanks us, explains they'd been harrassing her all morning because they don't like Griffith, cornered her when she got tired and told them to fuck off

She later treated us to ice cream and we've all been getting along pretty damn well since then.

Holy shit I don't know them personally or anything but I've lost count of how many times these two have been chosen as reps for international competition. Does anyone just don't give a fuck anymore about WCS in this country, is this why we get the same people every other year?
Their skit was also really underwhelming. I respect them for trying to do what they did but I'm surprised they got second place.
