/cgl/ - Cosplay & EGL

Longtime /cgl/ lurker and primarily a cosplayer, but I just ordered my first lolita piece (an Infanta sailor OP), and had a quick question about hair.
My default hairstyle is pixie short; due to the nature of my hair, no amount of product, hair care or styling can keep it nice when it's long (so growing it out isn't an option).

Can lolita still be pulled off with short hair and accessories (like a modest hairbow or hat), or should I invest in a long or bob wig for coords?

Not posting my hair because I desperately need a haircut, so here's a picture of what I bought.
