Seconding Homestuck. I've been in the scene for well over a decade and in those long years I've never seen anything as demented as the Homestuck people. Hetalia was full of underage spergs but Homestuck had actual fucking psychos in the fandom, the subject matter just seemed to attract that certain kind of out of this world crazy. I swear every time I meet people from other countries their community's worst drama is caused by present/ex-Homestuck cosplayers.

No it fucking wasn't lmfao, not one Japanese artist called that artist out. The main instigator was an entitled amerifat tumblrina who "fixed" the original piece by darkening the skin and reuploading it, making the original artist mad for altering his work. It's even a meme now in the Asian artist circles how westfags get enraged over retarded things.
