While on the other hand, while having plenty of space is nice, it can nerve wrecking and annoying when attendees run between tables to cut through the other side instead of going around. Also, I think if it's too spacious, it may make an AA seem small in a way, spread out too thin.

I'm wondering what /cgl/ thinks about the increasing number of Artist Alleys that restrict fan art at cons.

Here's an example of one that I have seen:
"Our Artist Alley is now a 60/40 Alley, meaning 60% fan art can be to 40% originals. Artists at -------Con are
encouraged to break away from the “fan art” box, and show their own wonderful and unique works of art. If an
artist brings more fan art to the convention than they displayed in their portfolio (or more than 60%), they will be
asked to remove a proportion of their work to accommodate the 60/40 rule. Artists are advised to sell Fan Art at
their own risk."

But I've even seen some AA rules that include complex diagrams that Fan Art can't be over 50%.
It kind of worries me since most of my art sold at AA is fan art.
