Where did you meet each other? I've been trying to get out of my comfort zone and go to cons to large events but it hasn't been working out for me. If you're also a guy though, then that just seems more normal. If not, please give details.

I know it's sounding sort of pathetic to ask this, but I'm wondering how people make new friends at conventions/local meetings, especially if they're going alone.

i have been to conventions alone before, but i've always been part of a cosplaygroup i joined over the internet and the friends i've made through that don't live in my city.

i would really appreciate you guys help.
