Curious noob

If I bought
https://www.amazon.com/Lightweight-Fleece-Outdoor-Recreation-Pockets/dp/B098D1Y2XP?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1&psc=1
could I cut sections of white fleece and glue them to the sides to make Holland's patterned jacket? Or should I get a white one and then dye the black parts black? Or cut up a black one to sew on white sections?
No way I can make one from scratch unless I find someone else to do it for me. Even sewing together segments will be a task of mythic difficulty for me considering I fiddle for awhile just to put buttons back on and they always snap off again soon because apparently I never use enough thread. That's why I was thinking of fabric glue using the black jacket itself as the base for adding the white sections, but maybe that's absolute madness I'm simply unable to see.

It took me a two months of sniping to find the mid-calf sneakers. Holy fuck I hate that his design uses a reference to a contemporary sneaker line that is now out of production. I delved into the amazon mines hoping that someone decided to make a knockoff. I found only one, for women, and almost all of their sizes were out of stock, including the size equivalent to my men's size shoe. After a couple weeks checking in on their page I finally saw them in stock so I snapped a pair up.
