Hello!
My friend will go to the Hong Kong this fall, so I wandering is there any physical lolita stores? Is it possible to find Girlism mag in HK offline stores?

Do any of you allow animals around your lolita or cosplay clothing? I see girls holding their cats in lolita all the time, but this goes for anything from reptiles to birds, all of your pets.

Another question, if I buy burando from someone who has a cat (I'm allergic) is there any way to get the allergens out 100%? Dry cleaning, desu?
I try to keep my own dog away from my closet even though I don't sell my lolita items. He's even hypoallergenic, I just am worried that people would be like, "Ew, this bitch has a dog on her burando? Most embarrassing behavior!"
He's very small and fluffy so he makes for very cute pictures, I'm just worried people will judge me. Plus, hairy clothing... I want to walk him when I wear lolita, but all of this worries me.
Opinions? Do you let your animals near your clothing?

Speaking of cats, I'll be making less of a fashion haul this February then planned because I must put aside enough money for 6 months worth of medication for my kitty to be safe. The vets want me to try holistic methods first, but I just watched her lick a wall for 5 minutes straight... I guess I'll have a Prozac kitty. Time to set up another appointment... BTW, this is more a feel for my cat then anything.

I'm hoping he doesn't make any more moves on me, because as much as I honestly see him as a friend, I still have some feelings for him that I just prefer to ignore when possible. It's a shame because I had never had a friend so close to me as him (he's also the only person I know who understands lolita and doesn't think it's a costume)

If I must be honest, he lied a lot and was really cold to me towards the end of the relationship, and he does feel guilty for that, which is why he agreed to the Tracer thing.

But I am moving on. If me and him were to get together again, it wouldn't work because of the mistrust from the previous relationship. Maybe I'll find someone at a convention or something, and, if all else fails, I still have cats to cuddle

I feel you, anon. I have a similar pet-friend but she's a cat. I've had her since I was five and I can't remember my life without her. We spend every day together and sleep beside each other every night. Thankfully she's still quite healthy despite her age, but my mom keeps pointing out things about her that make me uncomfortable.

I know they can't be around forever, but it breaks my heart that one day she won't be with me anymore. I'm sure she has a few years left in her, but just thinking about it makes me tear up. I definitely wasn't prepared for these kinds of thoughts, I just always assumed she'd be around forever like my human family.
My best advice is to remember the good times you two had together, because I assure you that's all she thinks about. Dogs are sweet like that.
