I've finally reached that point that I knew would come someday where I don't care about cosplay.

>now 25
>Used to love figuring out crazy costumes and learned all kinds of skills from sewing, to propmaking to wigging
>Now spending a long day inside an uncomfortable getup that cost hundreds to make at a con that took hundreds to go to feels pretty dumb

How have you anons dealt with shifting interests? I once gaped at my super cosplayer friend's crate of wigs, then eventually had one of my own, and now I just want to get rid of all of them. I look at cosplayers at cons and I see some pretty good stuff here and there but for the most part I feel pretty eh about most of them.

I still like anime and games but I have to be more choosy now that I have limited time with a real job I would much rather male things and sell them at AA than lose money for a few lulz and pictures.
