I finished the Medicine Seller's sword-knife-thing. I have never had worse procrastination problems than when working on this costume, fml.

I would highly recommend paper mache + paperclay for the mask and ears. You can make a nice hemisphere by covering a balloon in paper mache strips and then popping the balloon after it's cured, and paperclay will adhere nicely to it for additional details. Might want to paperclay over the 'claws' on the necklace too, to make them more organic looking.
I see bubbles on the knife blade: you need a stickier adhesive + more burnishing. Watered-down wood glue works really well.
