I was working at a small local Con a few years back
>I had to go the bathroom and I could hear some sobbing from one of the stalls, I looked from the other side and saw a disabled man, unable to get up.
>Turns out a bunch of guys ganged on him, stole his wheelchair and shoved him into the bathroom, he recalls it being around 3pm
>It was 8pm when I found him there, and the convention was about to close.
>I had to break the bathroom stall to get him outta there.
>I then drag him into the staff room while the other people at the con looked at us weirdly.
>Turns out the staff room doesn't have wheelchairs. Fuck.
>So I called the ambulances outside, but they already had their hands full after some people started a fight outside, not only that but there was a lot of traffic, so no ambulance or clinic.
>The man's friends had already taken the bus back to their city (1 hour away), they thought he had already quit early so that's why they didn't search for him.
>The man's family were also in that city so it would take a while for them to get here.
>"Guess we have no other choice"
>So I wasted the rest of that night caring for this disabled dude until his family came to pick him up.

A few days later I get a DM from the guy on Instagram, saying how much he wanted to thank me for taking care of him and how he already had the info of the dudes who ganged up on him.
Thank lord.

The most ironic thing of all and that he and his friends were all doing X-Men Cosplays (Stylized after the X-Men: Evolution cartoon) and cause he was the disabled guy, he cosplayed as Professor X.
