Tiled fireplaces using same type of tiles? There are, more modern typically, examples of such fireplaces. Probably no many examples of more ancient fireplaces like (if any at all) that as tiled stoves evolved from plain masonry heating stoves (wich are literally thousands of years old tech in continental Europe at this point), while areas that had fireplaces didn't use these massive tiles and preferred flat tiles. The only examples of well, semi-fireplaces are like the picrel. I call it semi as they are still modeled as tiled stoves just having bigger fuel burning chamber, et it's still smaller than regular English fireplace and much more built in than for example Bulgarian fireplaces that were much more open than English ones.
