The fabric is heavy and feels solid, and the underskirt is in a silky-ish type of fabric. It arrived a bit wrinkly, but I think it's gonna look super neat once I get around to ironing it. It was very frayed where the underskirt and the overskirt was sown together, but I just cut it the off for now, and I'll see if it starts fraying again. The cord was damaged in a scruffed way, which is my only real complaint, tbh. I'm considering replacing it, if I can find cord in a similar colour. It hits me comfortably about halfway down my thigh and I am 171 cm. It's also kinda tight around my tummy which means it makes me look skinnier. I got the XL.
