Thank you so much to everyone here who recommended books. I've put them on my ebook reader, and I'll start working through them as soon as possible. I've been an uncultured swine my entire life, and I want to turn that around. Broadening your horizons is key to being a stable and interesting adult, which is a top priority to me right now as I'm attempting to roll out of NEETdom at mach speed.

I'll start by wading through the books that are high school staples and work from there. All I remember of high school reading lists was that I hated Great Expectations with a fiery passion. My literature teacher was obsessed with it for some reason so we watched two different movies and a TV series and read two different versions of the book... It was... awful...
