I like your idea! It's pretty fun coming up with an outfit complementing your husbando rather than just flat out cosplaying the character. (Don't get me wrong, I love cosplaying in general too).

My husbando is Miyuki from daiya no ace! I actually found pic related but I can't afford it right now. If I ever get it, I'd probably wear something like how it's modeled.
