One that happened not too long ago:

>Be kawaii-as-shit Femboy
>go to a con in a small town not too far from where I live
>Dressed as Aperture Science Test Subject
>all is well, make some friends, get lots of compliments on the outfit
>13-15 year old teenage boy comes up to me
>face is covered in acne, short, buck-teethed, voice cracking and has a very awkward stutter
>"HI C-CHELL!"
>I try to explain that I'm not exactly crossplaying as chell, that I'm just a generic test subject, but that I could understand his confusion
>"OK THAT'S N-NEAT. C-CAN ME AND MY FRIEND GET A PICTURE?"
>it never gets through to him and he still keeps calling me a chell cosplayer
>He brings over his friend who looks about as creepy as he does
>at first I feel bad for them and take the pic with them, they're polite enough
>they start following me around the con shortly after
>about 30-40 minutes later I confront them about it
>they give a lot of bullshit but the first kid eventually admits that they wanted my phone number or something
>"Um... well first off I'm like 6 years older than you and you do know I'm a dude right?"
>the kid's eyes go wide and he spergs out
>apologizes like crazy and looks like he's about to die of embarrassment
>I had assumed my voice was deep enough the first go around to let him know I was a guy
>immediately afterwards though I give him a lecture about how if he is uncomfortable doing that shit to guys then he shouldn't do it to girls either
>he meekly agrees and then stays the fuck away from me the rest of con


To be fair though, he wasn't as bad as the skinny deadpool cosplayer at the same con who used his costume as an excuse to act like an asshole and stare down women's shirts for the sake of being "in character".

That guy... what a faggot.
