Then, wouldn't something like Lazy Oaf be considered J-fashion for the obvious style it's based on (and its acceptance as "valid" in the Japanese fashion community via the Tokyo pop-up shop besides Laforet, and endorsement by people like Ayumi Seto)?
And yet, I think most seagulls would side-eye anyone who'd try calling Lazy Oaf J-fashion. Is it because they use non-Asian models primarily? Because if so, that just forces us to question how all of these clothes present on those of us who are non-Asian.
