I tried fixing my EVA Foam armour by repeating the whole gesso - primer - spraypaint - top coat cycle. Sadly enough, the layers would still get peeled off completely during the upcoming con, so I've heard about this thing called Plasti Dip.
The problem is, Red Plasti Dip isn't available in my country for the most part... unless you're willing to cough up around 25 Euros (incl. shipping costs) per spraying-can.
However, I can get other plasti dip cans like grey and black quite cheaply. The thing is, it won't have that whole "cover up the damages incase layers of paint scatter off" thing going on.
So what should I do, just go for the grey plasti dip or go for the red plasti dip?

Somewhat in between new-work and patching up stuff. I'm adding the missing armour pieces to my Toku-inspired costume since I didn't have much time to make those pieces initially because of a deadline.
However, parts of the armour have been damaged (i.e. layers of gesso - spray primer - colour spraypaint - top coat have been scattered of it), so now I'm fixing it by redoing the same old steps but with extra more layers.
They're now patched up with layers of gesso, but I've recently stumbled upon this awesome thing called Plasti-Dip, but I don't know if I can still use it on this costume. I really want to and if not, wanna know an alternative option to make the paint layers stick to the costume and not getting shredded or scattered off during a convention.
