Hi everyone!! I'm 100% new to actually wearing lolita, but I've absolutely admired the entire subculture as a whole since middle school. I never had the courage to wear it before, I was so scared of being seen as ita/cringe and didn't have any friends to meet up with. I'm 23 now, and able to afford some lolita, still very much a poorfag though. I'm really excited to wear this to a meetup with a dear friend of mine who inspired me and gave me courage to wear lolita finally! I'm definitely drawn to sweet lolita more than any other style so I wanted my first co-ord to be super pink, sweet and charming (it was either this or a celestial or strawberry co-ord).

I have a general knowledge of what's accepted and what's not (I feel like I have a good eye I guess) but I need advice on the shoes, what wig I should look for, and accessories, mainly. I was going to handmake some blueberry hairpins, and maybe a biscuit/cookie ring as well. Not sure if I should wear gloves. I did get thinner denier tights because I'm planning on wearing this any season, and Texas heat is unforgiving.

(I made the collage on my phone, sorry about the aspect ratio)

Any advice is appreciated!!! Thank you!
