I'm the OP and I just adore this picture you drew. I didn't save it back then and tried to find it; it was quite a hassle but I was so glad when I finally found your tumblr with both of the comissions you did for lilith. Idc about the proportions, I always saw it as something playful and artsy and I loved the drippy part.

I'm pretty happy with where our comm is at right now. Plenty of meetups happening, enough active members, generally nice people (minus a few sour grapes), not too much drama.

Smaller meetups with friends. I've made such great friends through this hobby you don't even know (I love you guys)
I like the free for all topics in the facebook group. They definitely provide an outlet for people, make the group more lively, though they've started becoming less active already.
I also appreciate it a LOT that we don't put up with bullshit.

I don't like that many posts/meetup suggestions don't get replied to at all. "Doodgezwegen". Same for people who don't show up to meets. Why put yourself on going if you have no intention to?
And though this is improving, I dislike that a large part of our comm shuns the con scene. The "wow those people are freaks" attitude could be toned down. We don't exactly look normal ourselves, you know.

Oh but I'm really looking forward to the SFE event in our country eeee~

Is everybody excited!!! I know I am!! I just finished my last cosplay tonight and am just now done packing. Now to bed so I'm not a zombie on the first day already.

I know this is lolita and not cosplay, but it JUST happened and I wanted to post.

That feel when you posted a few weeks ago about being nervous about wearing loli on base for the first time and some OTS asswipe comes on and tries to belittle you. That feel when you wear loli on base for the first time today anyways. That feel when you just happen to be getting food at the same time as a bus full of full bird Colonels. That feel when one holds the door for you and five of them tell you how cute you look and how they wished their daughters would dress that classy.

Not sure why there were such high ranking officers in the dining hall anyways. There are so many better places to eat that they can afford than that.
