I'd say a good few extra inches, but it doesn't stay straight for long, tends to just curl back up, and I'd rather not fight it with high heat straighteners/hair dryers, even with heat protectant. I find straight hair doesn't flatter me that much, compared to when it's got a good wave with some body to it.
