Fuck, pretty much every con Texas and Louisiana have offered, excluding just a few.

Chance to see my distant friends, run panels, and "perform"
>What is your favorite thing to do at conventions?
Hanging out upstairs eating take-out food, some drinks, playing CAH or some other random game

Eh... dunno. Animefest is one of the last ones I can still tolerate but even it is getting annoying. Giving San Japan and D*c a try this year.

FUCKYOUA-KON. Otherwise, tiny cons can be bad fuckups too... but A-kon, man I have the strongest hate for that shitfest.
>How far have you traveled to go to a convention?
Eight hours is normal for me and is also the longest drive (not counting time being lost)
>Have you ever gone to a convention outside your country?
I think Comiket was happening when I was in Tokyo but hell no I wanted to deal with that mess.
>What is your best convention story?
Proposing marriage to Ikuko Itoh while cosplay Neko-sensei
>What is your worst convention story?
>A-kon cosplay masq. staff are dicks and make performing a hassle
>A-kon staff shoot t-shirt cannon into crowd, breaks heavy glass chandeliers over numerous people
>I have glass in eye, friend was concussed in the fucking head by a shirt and can't stand upright for half a day
>Bring it up on the boards and all A-kon does is offer a free badge in a PM to shut me up.
