Don't do what you see in this picture. This makeup is for girls with delicate features.

I forgot to comment earlier.

I can't say my face is quite Florence Welsh. I always thought I had a man face but other people tell me otherwise. (I'm no delicate flower, that is for sure.)

Anyhow. lips I find are the single best thing to accentuate when nature gifted you with strong bones to say the least. Seriously, look up man faces, you'll find they all wear lip stick most the time.

Wine works best for me but experiment. Some prefer plum, pink, or peach. I use a lip stain pencil instead of lip gloss.

Do not line your eyes completely with eyeliner. It only serves to make us look more manly and rugged. Eyeliner on the top lid will suffice. Same goes for eyeshadow. Keep eyeshadow on the lighter side as well. Blacks, deep blues, and plums sometimes just make a "man face" look harsh. (Now, unless your particular eye shape dictates otherwise. Most man faces have plenty large enough eyes though.)

I find I hate contouring and highlight makeup with shimmer. Angular features + shimmer just end up highlighting the wrong areas. Same with contouring, even minimal contouring will look drag queen like. I like plain matte foundation. Unless your skin is really dry/ashy, I'd stay away from moisturizing. I look far less manly sans the shiny.

Long, big hair. I rocked short hair for years but I couldn't argue when someone piped, "It kind of makes you look like a teenage pretty boy.". Hair that falls about 2 inches or more past the chin flatters more then short pixies, pageboys, or bobs. Big hair is even better. It softens prominent angles. Make sure any layers do not fall directly on/at the cheek bone, bottom of chin, or that area where you chin meets the neck/face only because then it will bring attention to exactly those areas.

Unless you have long face and not man face or both. Do not wear long hair past the chin with an extremely long face, it will only accentuate it.
