I would spend hours after school on the original In the Starlight website, making lists of all the skirts/blouses/dresses/socks/etc I wanted in a million color combinations.

I miss In the Starlight something fierce. They weren't always on the nose, but when they were doing basically free for all customization, you could get tons of cheap staples for a modest price.

I remember I had a txt file with a list of alllll the skirts, blouses, and dresses I was going to order from them. In my mind I totally needed this skirt in blackxwhite, whitexblack, bluexwhite, etc etc. Didn't end up buying as much as I had planned but I had a good 30 pieces from them in the end.

I'm still mad at myself for selling off all my ITS stuff, minus one dress, a few years back. At the time I decided I'd rather keep my nicer brand stuff but now I miss having all those sturdy staples.

This In the Starlight skirt + a blouse I found at Sears. Good times.

Same here. I had a list of all the skirt and dress and shirt combinations I was going to buy! This was back with their old store, of course, when you could get any of their items in just about any color combination ever. Because naturally I needed this particular skirt in black with white lace, white with black lace, blue with white lace, etc...
