/cgl/ - Cosplay & EGL

So I'm working on a mask based loosely on the idea of a reptilian human hybrid (think Argonian from Skyrim or Silurian from Dr Who)
I've sculpted and cast the mask in latex and it's looking pretty good, I'm up to to fixing fine detail and colouring before I do a few test runs.
the flat areas on top will have a set of four horns attached which aren't finished yet.
My questions to you lovely people are;
A) has anyone used spirit gum with a wholely latex prosthetic? if yes any tips on application and wearing (i'm aiming to adhere parts of the mask to my face to get a more stable fit and so that the mouth will articulate with mine) i've only used it once with a silicone hand make up piece.
and B) anyone see any obvious flaws or areas that could be improved upon?
