I live in an area where drug usage is pretty rampart so I don't think that should stop you from wearing them. I've never had friends or colleagues who did recreational pills comment on them adversely. The thigh highs have a huge medical cross on them so the theme is pretty obvious. Outside the hair accessories, everything I own obviously points to a medical theme. It's not like wearing it will scream, 'Xanax bars, percocets and lortabs...' I wouldn't worry about that at all.

Oh absolutely not. It just amuses me hearing the story that my grandmother was offered a 'return' for her adopted child based on the fact the biological father was not white. These were according to my grandmother, 'different times'.
