/cgl/ - Cosplay & EGL

So I've had this dress for a while now and it's been sitting in my closet collecting dust because I'm struggling to coord it. My biggest problem is color matching. It's hard to tell in the picture but the green is a very unique green. It's not emerald or forest. It's more like a grey green with a few warmer patches. Anyways I've tried very hard to find matching greens and I've given up on that. It's weird how much clashing of warm and cool shades there are in this dress.

I have tried to match it with the tan like the model is doing but I still don't like it. I'm considering trying to bring out some of the red but it's again a very weird shade of red like an orange red. I'm also considering a pale yellow (which Is actually what color the false top is irl) or gold accessories. I cant seem to find a yellow thats the same color either. My friend suggested I try covering the top of the dress with a black cardigan or blouse and using black accessories but I think that'd actually be worse.

I'm on the verge of just selling this dress. I feel like an idiot that this is so hard for me
