No it won't? Did you buy your cork board from the dollar store? I don't understand how else it would pierce through the solid wood behind the cork and damage my wall. The picture I posted shows that the pin doesn't even need to go that deep for it to stay since you're not going to be touching and shaking it every day. If you're too anxious about this even with proof that it's fine then don't put badges on your cork board, get an earring stand from Claire's.
