/cgl/ - Cosplay & EGL

A friend invited me to go to Anime NYC since someone canceled on him and now I have 19 days to do a cosplay I was thinking about for a long time.
The horns and cape won’t be too much of an issue, it’s the arm, shorts and belts I’m having trouble with. I won’t do the full dragon claw, just the retracted tail form seen when not in use. No idea how to attach it to my arm though. While I’ll be making it flat against my forearm instead of sticking it out by the two spires it does, I dunno if I should make one whole gauntlet for the yellow discoloration or use body paint and attach it on top of that
The way the shorts seemed like rolled up pants on the sprite led to me trying that myself, but it was too tight and killed circulation when it got over my knee. I could just go with the art shorts instead but I want to break up the otherwise monochrome color scheme with the clothes.
The belts, I’m just lost on. The one on the glove I might just omit, but the chest ones I have to do. Might be easier to make the one solid piece as they are in the art instead of the ringed buckles used in the sprite.
