WIP on Nausicaa's helm from the manga.

Of course first time working with sintra I choose compound curves, naturally it was a bit of a nightmare to shape!

From left to right, top to bottom:
>Had to apply bondo to round out the middle since I couldn't stretch the sintra enough to make a nice dome shape
>Applying even more bondo to try and cover seams and general wonky shit
>Sanded down with dremel and sanding sponges/blocks
>Mocked up the filligree design in paper to see where to focus my energy since parts would be covered up
>Only photo I took in a long process of spot putty, filler primer, sand, repeat
>Sanded down with 320 and 400 grit and buffed, next step apoxie sculpt the details and then spot putty remaining dents that are uncovered
