Huh. Interesting thread, op.
I live in a humid Mediterranean climate, these are some of the things I do:
>boleros > blouses
>cotton > chiffon
>knee high socks > OTKs
>natural hair > wigs
>in the summer: shorts > bloomers
>minimal makeup + setting powder
>carry a parasol everywhere
>wear sunscreen on all exposed skin
And if it's really hot and humid,
>light underskirt > petticoat
The last one is an exception rather than a rule, but some underskirts provide very light poof on their own that gives coords a nice, lightweight feeling that's preferable to petticoats.
