Haven't seen those my self, but I have seen several of those mass produced tents that all retailers have and I think they are a bit shitty on several points.

My guess is that the tent producer you posted are better since they both look good on presentation and have a price tag that could match the quality difference. One thing that got me interest is this:
>"We’ve partnered with a world class canvas manufacturer to create our new line of high quality tents."
And taking a look at the canvas up close, its more comparable to the tighter modern canvas tents than the cheap ones which basically just uses thick indian cotton made canvas to ensure water and wind resistance. This is good for a number of things, one being that you will save weight per square meter, you will have same amount of water and wind resistance despite thinner canvas, and it will dry faster and more easily compared to thicker canvas tents decreasing maintenance/packing times as well as increased longevity chances.

This is basically the issue when comparing cheap larp tents to modern canvas tents. I don't know if LARP TENTS have the same type of canvas or maybe just some middle ground variant between the two, but my guess is that they are better (and its not hard to be better) than your average cheap larp tents.

Those cheap larp tents do the job fine, but they can still cost a lot and tents are good investments, so its just up to you on how much you want to spend really.
