I have a much older japanese girlfriend who isn't into anime other than what she grew up with. Her friends asked me if I wanted to go to Comiket Winter with them and cosplay, but I'm not so sure. It would be with her coworkers and it would be a pretty big social obligation for her to come. Other than them, I have no one I know who would cosplay. I'm not sure if not having a group works like it does in America. I just want to dress up again and talk anime.
