We need to fight the white

>Going to room with friends at a con
>One friend can't fully pay her way in, and asks if she can invite another friend to help her pay
>I don't like the idea but I go along with it because she's been a good friend
>Message her friend to get things organized
>On her FB page I see some Black Power stuff
>Kind of get an "oh boy" feeling but decide to reserve judgement
>I message her and within the first few minutes she says she feels uncomfortable rooming with two white people. (My friend and I are both white. The friend that wants to bring her along is black)
>Tell her she doesn't have to come along if she's not comfortable with it, and that we'll figure out something instead
>She gets upset, says that instead of dismissing her we should try and accommodate "underprivileged" peoples
>realize what kind of person I'm talking with and just tell her that I'd rather not deal with her on my weekend off
>she gets bitchy but I just block her
>Show the logs to my two friends, our black friend is really embarrassed and says she didn't think she was like that

On the bad side, I volunteered to help pay what she couldn't. Less merch for me.
