Nothing too special so far.
I'm working on a blood sword for my Mirai cosplay. (It's a little over 3ft long)

MDF is a flimsy material so I had to double it up with thin plywood on each side. It gave a nice thickness to it and it's still lightweight.
I have to sand the hell out of it (edges are still bumpy) and then paint it. (There's also an ugly seam line that I filled in with a sawdust/wood glue mixture but it'll go away with more sanding.)

I'm pretty satisfied with the bare bones of it so far.
