Shield update: Flat iron base coat is drying, reinforced the place where the hand strap is attached to the shield with a small piece of leather lined particle board.
I'm gonna keep the backside in plain black, as an eternal reminder to our friend to not commission people without a portfolio for full price.

Yeah VERY bad idea. As everyone else already said, you will smell HORRIBLE. On top of that even though blood from professionally butchered cattle is pretty save, you are still covering yourself in a substance that basically spoils instantly, opening the door for all sorts of food poisoning and infections.

It's generally a dick move that has no advantages whatsoever. Even price wise, fake blood is cheaper if you make it yourself.
