Well, I don't think this is bad in the sense, but I'll share:

>I bought my first Lolita dress off of Tokyo Rebel (wasn't aware of second-hand shops until much later)
>I think I'm ready to dip my toes into the lolita fashion
>Shell out almost $170 for pic related
>Arrives a few weeks later
>Didn't do proper research, dress is ill fitting (boob loaf & tight as hell)
>Cry a thousand rivers because I got over excited & blinded by babby's first burando
>Have to face the facts & sell it back since I can't wear it
>Post on a price check thread asking if I could get my money back for it
>Nope.avi, not even close.
>Estimated sell back less than $100 because Putumayo is ita as shit apparently
>Get desperate & sell it on lacemarket for the price I bought it for + shipping/handling + tracking
>Someone buys it the day after I put up on lacemarket
>Barely make my money back when the dust settles

After that, I haven't looked at or made any plans to get into Lolita. I've been pussyfooting with the idea for years now, but you know how that goes when you're a beginner.
