I'm saying that if the individual ignores chance and likelyness, he/she's going to have a bad time. This isn't a responsiblity thing, there is no responsibility in play. This is all about recognizing that there are other influinces outside of your control while realizing that there are things you can do to make sure these other influinces cannot touch you.

The individual is not solely responsible for what happends to him or her but that's all the more reason to take extra precautions, because the individual is not the only factor in his or her surroundings.

There are a large number of other influinces which cannot be accounted for (strangers) and assuming that they will always be good and do no harm is laughable and horribly naïve

Just because something is unfair doesn't mean it doesn't happen, unless you live in a fantasy land ofcourse. That taken to heart, all you can really do at people who did something where he or she could expect a certain reaction only to complain when this expected reaction occurs is laugh
