WIP of my Nausicaa cosplay. Its getting to crunch time for Dragon*con!!

>Pretty much finished the helm, still looks lumpy but I kinda like that handmade look and it'll look better with metal paint and dirt in the crevices

A note on the epoxy, it cures glossy clear and hard, I only used a cm of fluid from each bottle for two coats on that sword handle. I would not recommend this method for large pieces because it would be VERY expensive (it was $16 for that bottle size) and at that point it would be better to get urethane casting resin. Its also has "non" toxic fumes (i.e. still use in a ventilated area, but it only has a slight rotten egg odor, as opposed to ghastly stinky polyester resin)
