I want to take cute pics of my comm members, but I know it'll just cause problems. I love to take candid photos of people - you can see their beauty and personality so much better. With posed shots, people just tend to look uncomfortable and walled-off. You can't see any spark of the real person.
I know that just having my camera out will make people uncomfortable. With my friends, I've reassured them that they'll always be the first person to see whatever pictures I've taken of them, and that any that they dislike will be immediately deleted, no questions asked. But those are my friends, people who've known me for a long time, and know that I'll keep my word. But I only know my comm members on a surface level, not to the point that they could trust me well enough to let down their guard like that.
So, oh well, I'll dream. And continue to take posed shots of people grimacing while trying to look relaxed.
