>first time attending non-convention cosplay gathering
>have confidence in gear/technique, but hard to ask people to take pictures because most everyone are with friends/cliques
>spot a super cute girl cosplaying gumi (pic related)
>she's swamped by photogs and disappears for shoots constantly
>end of the day I have done 3 shoots, one of which was with a friend
>somehow catch her just around golden hour but as I call out to her to ask she turns around and I realize that she was eating some snacks
>immediately apologize, say "nevermind" and turn to walk away
>she stops me and insists that it's perfectly fine and says she's down for a shoot
>start talking to her while we look for a good place to shoot
>she's super down to earth and she really enjoys doing cosplay
>do everything humanly possible to not screw up the shoot
>somehow exchange facebook info and she specifically asks me to add her
>get home
>process pictures/upload them to flickr
>post link on gathering fb page
>look her up on fb
>private facebook account
>not a friend of friend = cannot add as friend

god. damn. it.
