Been planning to do Re-Class. Was originally going to do it for AX but ended up not going. Still wondering how to do the tail but have figured that if it's too heavy, thinking of straps like a backpack and then straps around the hidden part of the waist to keep it up. Not sure if it'd work though.

Can anyone give me suggestions on how to do the tail for an Re-Class cosplay? I figured the head at the end would be made with craft foam or something equally lightweight and the actual tail would be stuffed fabric, but I want to put something in it so it'll stand up instead of just flopping around.

I could just use a wire framework or something if it was static, but I'd really like to make it articulated somehow so I could reposition it on the fly for photos (and to be able to fold it up when I'm just moving around). It's pretty large but it shouldn't be terribly heavy if I construct it right.

What do you guys think I should make the tail out of? Not the head, but the actual white tail part. I'm worried whatever I use will be too heavy or not keep a good shape.

Going to be having me and my friends cosplay from it and I can't wait. Decided to go a semi different route as an Abyssal. We finally have an idea of constructing the tail. Can't wait for it!
