Resident Evil cosplayers tend to be very chill from my experiences, with the cooler and more personable ones being the ones who cosplay as "Classic Resident Evil" characters (basically anything pre-RE4)

As for people who exclusively cosplay heroes (or more accurately, well-known mainstream heroes) being complete dirtbags most of the time, yes I can confirm that.

In a weird inverse, the best cosplayers I have ever met tend to be one of the rarest in terms of cosplay, and that's Grand Theft Auto cosplayers

I've only met a few GTA cosplayers and they were all pretty chill.

The worst I can say about any of them was this guy who cosplayed as Toni Cipriani back in 2013 who was a complete sperg, but he meant well and was pretty cool despite his obvious autism.

In a weird twist, there was this guy cosplaying as Sebastian Michaelis who took the Toni Cipriani sperg under his wing and really helped him out, apparently they knew each other outside the con and were friends.

Of course, the worst cosplayers are the ones for Homestuck, Overwatch, Steven Universe, and of course, Deadpool.

Hetalia used to be on that list until the SJW fujos jumped over to Steven Universe and My Hero Academia.
