I'm selling all my dresses but one. I love them to death, but I've just become a hoarder. Buying new dresses doesn't give me that "high" anymore that I once felt. I'm not excited to coord them. I wear them maybe once every few months, and I can't justify keeping them anymore aside from sentimental value. They make me both happy and sad when I open my closet and look at and touch them, but when I get all dressed up it flairs up my stomach issues due to the pressure on my waist and I can't wear them for more than an hour. It's also partially because I got laid off and need the money, if I didn't need the money I absolutely would keep hoarding them.

Seeing my dream dresses slowly disappear from my closet almost physically hurts, but I know it's for the best. They'll go to a new, loving home where they will get worn.

At least, that is what I keep telling myself to not cry.

I have really bad IBS and it makes wearing lolita very uncomfortable and I'm thinking of selling my wardrobe after getting my DD because I haven't worn a piece seriously since last December, and it just made me sad when I got it.

I love my dresses and I love wearing them, but I don't get a lot of time to wear them in the first place and my IBS issues just make it uncomfortable.

I'm trying to justify it in in my head to list them like I'm moving to a different state soon and they take up a lot of space, someone else would probably properly wear and love them more, I could use the money, etc.

I'm an associate community manager for a larger video game company.

Where I live kind of rapes my wallet, but I split rent with my boyfriend and put plenty away in my retirement fund and my emergency fund a month, so I would say I am pretty comfortable / content atm.

I realistically only buy dresses I really like and find a decent deal on. Luckily the majority of dresses I like are older prints that people are getting tired of, due to entering the fashion some number of years ago and not being afford it until now.
