This can be for cosplay/lolita/J-fashion or just general makeup, hair styling, fashion styling, skincare, diet etc. Solicit advice, swap tips and reveal your personal secrets.

You don't have to have black in your outfit to make it work imo. However, I do agree that they look more fairy kei than larme. I think someone needs to teach them that 'less is more'. If they understand that concept, I'm sure they can improve.

To be honest, you don't really look like you're wearing makeup here (save for your lips, obviously), much less any discernible style. You need to work on your base makeup (i.e. foundation/bb/concealer/whatever), since your skin looks a bit red, uneven, and tired here. A solid base is really important.
After you have your base, find a good blush.
I personally think that the gradient lip that you seem to be going for rarely looks good irl and that a single/"flat" lip colour looks better with larme.
