My point is that I generally agree with people who decide to shoop it bloodcoloured rather than grey. While I agree that it isn't canon I stand by my opinion that it is an understandable artistic liberty. Of course, you shouldn't take it too far (like that Karkat whose cheeks were practically pink with makeup, or the Kanaya miniskirt), and I will always respect that some people will strive for 100% canon so grey tongues don't bother me.
