Alright my friends.
https://pastebin.com/7aC2M3Qc
The key tips I have for are as follows:
>wear a very full apron, as flour gets messy
>slice apples into 4ths, and then again into 4th, for ideally sized apples slices
>DRAIN THOSE FUCKING APPLES
>paper thin apples will burn and thick apples will be mushy- you want apples about 1/8 - 1/4 inch thick, leaning towards 1/4
>KEEP YOUR BUTTER AND UTENSILS AS COLD AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE
>do not over-agitate the dough
>pic attached for the perfect lattice crust folding technique
>be sure to have cold hands and handle the crust as little as possible
>once it's all assembled, keep your oven light on, make sure it doesn't get too brown but DO NOT open the oven
>monitor, seriously, oven times and cooking temperatures vary
>your first pie may be a flop, 350-375F is the recommended temperature but shit varies so don't be upset if it's under or overcooked- just try again

>if it comes out perfect, serve that shit with some vanilla ice cream and enjoy
