A few days ago when everyone was talking about Spiro and her eating disorder, it made me look at my Instagram feed in a different way. I hadn't noticed before but so many of the most admired lolitas in our international online community genuinely look ill. It's kind of shocking. Also, even completely healthy lolitas regularly crash diet - I do before meets, even though I fit all my clothes. Whether you prefer skinny lolitas or plus size lolitas, would you say our community has a dysfunctional relationship with weight? What can we do to improve the culture we have around weight? Is it our duty to be better about weight, should we encourage others to better themselves by gaining or losing as appropriate, or should we just ignore the topic entirely?
>also are the Russians really all ana-chans, what's with that?
