Horror stories: Guys that ask us if we will draw X character, but pregnant. Girl that pays with a wet, smelly $5 bill from the sock on her foot she uses as a purse.
Awesome story: Just happened yesterday. Guy that bought his 3 twin daughters a set of #1, 2 and 3 gravity falls hardbound books form my etsy store during christmas. Well, they happened to be passing by my booth when I noticed them each carrying their books. I spoke up and the dad realized it was me he bought them from and it was a happy moment all around. Gave them some matching pins to go along with their books.
>-What was your first time selling like? Were you prepared?
I was prepared only due to having sold at art gatherings with university fine art clubs so I knew the setups. I was not exactly prepared in quality. I still cringe at my old stuff, and working on replacing the shit.

Metrocon is always great, we make several thousand there.
>-What's your favorite thing to make and sell, besides prints?
Lanyards and books are too close to pick a favorite.
>-What's the weirdest thing you've seen being sold at an AA?
Dead skinned animals and fur. I believe it was Metrocon. Makes my skin crawl seeing the pelts propped into poses.
>-What's the most creative thing you've seen being sold at an AA?
Papercrafts (the kind you cut out and assemble yourself after buying their printed pattern sheets)
>-What are some beginner AA mistakes you made?
Goddamn gridwall. Fuck those things. And sticking to the same things everyone else has.
