Anybody know what I can use as a base for Tsumugu's shoulder armor? I feel like this should be easy to figure out but I really have no ideas

I'm really wanting to do a Tsumugu cosplay. I've got the face and could get the body if I'm a little more dedicated with my lifting. The only thing holding me back is I'm not noticeably tall. I'm not noticeably short either though. I'd say around 5'10''. Maybe 5'11'' but I don't think so.

Thoughts? Would it really be that big of a deal? I don't see his height as a particularly defining factor, but still.
