> what do you define as a "large wardrobe?" how many main pieces? how many blouses, etc?
this is arbitrary, but around 50-60 brand pieces is when a wardrobe starts seeming large to me. i know a lot of lolitas who have in the 20-25 range, so i'm basing it off of that average. at least half as many blouses/cutsews as you do main pieces. i think that sounds reasonable for someone who wears lolita regularly. lots of socks and headpieces (i'm thinking at least 30 each), and a variety of shoes--at least 10-15 pair, as many seem to have very few?
> do you have a wardrobe you'd consider big? what substyle(s) do you wear? how long have you been in the fashion?
i consider it a little big, at least for someone my age who hasn't been wearing lolita too long. i'm at around 65 pieces and wear sweet pretty much exclusively. i think this is my third year being very invested in the fashion.
> are there any particular lolitas with big wardrobes you admire?
i don't really admire big wardrobes for the sake of them being big... if that makes sense? i'm less impressed by somebody's possessions as i am by what they create with them. plus, being able to buy things isn't all that admirable. i hope i don't seem cynical.
> storage tips?
i don't have much to contribute aside from using command hooks to display berets/katyusha all along the walls, and perhaps those cascading hangers that take less room for the blouses you hang. cutsews and cardigans i never hang, always fold, and that seems to preserve closet space.

i really hate planning coords in advance

i don't go to events often and as someone who likes to go with the flow and wear lolita in a casual/everyday way, the process of refining everything and buying things for specific coords makes me so neurotic

>basing this coordinate around flowers, therefore need a blouse with flowers on the lace or flower buttons duh
>guess i need to buy these thematically hyper-specific accessories to match a single coordinate
>hmmm this could use a ring/wristwear/brooch/some other thing i don't have on hand or need to make myself
>better paint my nails a different color each day to match each coordinate since they're all wildly different

i'm 100% overthinking everything but i'm going to be meeting lolitas i've only talked to online and i don't want to come across as out of place/underdone even though my style is usually pretty simple
